1-day Spirometry Refresher Course

A wide ranging course designed for the measurement and interpretation of lung function. The course is suitable for individuals who currently conduct spirometry in the workplace. Course content includes:

• Anatomy of the respiratory system
• Spirometry protocols
• Hygiene and infection control
• Calibration requirements and practical session
• Consistency of measurements
• Factors that can cause measurement errors
• Peak flow meters & practical session
• Interpretation and practical session
• Written assessment (competency course only)

Refreshments and lunch are included on each full day of training. If a reservation is cancelled within 4 weeks of the course date a 50% charge would be held. If a reservation is cancelled within 2 weeks of a course date, no refund would be available.
